Jerry Stamson – Certified Personal Trainer

I went to Saint Louis University and graduated in 2010 with a degree in Economics.  After SLU I decided to advance my skills in fitness and became a personal trainer with ISSA.  I started lifting weights after a season of wrestling in high school.  As time went on I started to read more about weight lifting and became interested in bodybuilding and general fitness.  In 2010 I competed in my first bodybuilding show, it was a great experience and it gave me a chance to see all my hard work pay off.  I’ve made fitness and bodybuilding a life style because I enjoy the way it makes me feel and it’s not something that everyone can do.   In the past 8 years that I have been lifting I’ve never missed a workout, I’m very dedicated to achieving my goals as well as the goals of my clients.  I expect 110% from my clients in the gym.

Joe Tobias - Certified Personal Trainer

In high school I was part of many sports like football, wrestling, and track and field. Shortly after graduating from Lindbergh high school in 2006, I began working for St. Louis Workout. Since then my interest in health and fitness has expanded as well as my desire to put to use what I have learned along the way. In 2008 I began training for competition in Mixed Martial Arts and after a few successful bouts I turned my attention back to being on the gym floor and becoming a personal trainer. In September 2011 I became certified by the International Sports Sciences Association.

Maria Mazzola - Certified Personal Trainer

My name is Maria Mazzola. I am a Certified Personal Trainer through AFAA and have a certification in Group Resistance Training through AFAA as well.  Fitness was what I have done in my spare time & was my favorite hobby.  I have been working as an accountant in an office for over 20 years.  So needless to say, sitting at a desk literally drives me crazy.  I decided to turn my hobby into a career and educate people in exercise and wellness.

I have been through many adventures in my time, everything from being an on air personality at a local radio station to booking bands in the local music business.  I now know that fitness is by far the most rewarding endeavor & my career choice for the rest of my life.  I am a single mom of a 15-year-old son.  I own a home in Maryland Heights.  The goal is to continue accounting to get my son through high school and college with personal training on the side.

In the meantime, I plan to continually educate myself in the fitness and wellness world and to help others get on track to a healthier, happier lifestyle.  As my son moves on in his career in life and I let go of the reigns, I am hoping that the experience, clients and education that I will gain over time will lead me to a solid career in fitness.  And what a wonderful way to retire, right?
